Dear Diary,
I know that a lot of people think that money can bring you happiness, and I used to think this way too. People believe that if you have money, you are automatically happy, because you basically have the power to buy happiness, right? Sure, being able to afford living luxuriously, buying and spending as much as you want can lead to a comfortable life but money can never be the most important thing in our lives and it should never be more important than having good morals and spending time doing what you love with people you love.
These values are much more important to me than the value of money because the things that money can bring are only temporary, this includes happiness and pleasure. True happiness for me is doing what I like, which is pursuing my dreams while spending time people I love, such as my classmates and family. I believe that I can find more joy in the process of trying to figure out a math problem with my classmates rather than spending a day at the mall, buying, spending, eating, and drinking.
I know that I can find more happiness by pursuing my dreams and doing things I love to achieve permanent happiness. You do not need money to live a happy life.
