Dear Diary,
There was sometimes I would think that I didn’t belong in a certain class. I would always be placed in a class with people who exceled in their education. They would show how smart they were by answering questions aloud with high vocabulary and they would get outstanding grades on their tests. As for me, I was ever able to speak with such vocabulary that I’d feel as if everyone was three grades above me. I would have to study all night to be able to get such a good grade on a test and it was always so hard for me. So when I got chosen to speak in front of the class, I would almost seem to get embarrassed, wishing I was as smart as everyone else. I always wished I was as highly intelligent as everyone else around me.
Sooner or later I realized the problem. I didn’t believe in myself as much as the other students did. I wasn’t confident at all when it came to my schoolwork. To fix this I had to believe that I was able to do these things. That I was placed in this class for a reason. Not because they made a mistake or something silly like that, but because I was smarter than I thought I was. That day I realized my potential and I keep growing with my confidence in everything I do, every single day.
